Implementation

Vista / W.A.T. implementation process guidance for new company onboarding. This section documents the ordered Playbook stages (why each stage exists, outcomes, decisions, and exit criteria) and how they connect to Company Tracker setup actions and Vista configuration. It supports human implementers and TEDI automation.

Product UI click-paths, navigation chrome, and field-level controls live under W.A.T. Implementations in the TUDS docs, not here.

What you'll find here

Playbook stages

The Playbook describes the ten sequential implementation stages from Onboarding through Stabilization. Each article covers:

  • Purpose of the stage in a Vista / W.A.T. implementation
  • phase_key for TEDI
  • Outcomes and decisions
  • Typical work and artifacts (process language)
  • Connection to Company Tracker / Vista setup
  • Exit criteria and what comes next
  • A short In the product pointer to the matching TUDS how-to

Ordered stages:

  1. Onboarding
  2. Kickoff
  3. Code Format Design
  4. Core Configuration
  5. Integrations
  6. Testing & Training
  7. Beginning Balance Decisions
  8. Cutover Readiness
  9. Go-Live
  10. Stabilization

For shell navigation, company selection, and exports in Mission Control, see Run the Implementation Playbook.

Company Tracker actions

The Tracker section documents discrete Vista setup tasks organized by milestone and module, linking each action to its corresponding Phase 1 Vista configuration article.

How they connect

Several Playbook stages feed Company Tracker (visibility, assignees, milestones, or actions), especially Core Configuration, Integrations, Testing & Training, Beginning Balance Decisions, and Go-Live. Core Configuration also recommends the Tracker Headquarters / Module Setup spine as the configuration order for HQ work. Stage-by-stage Tracker notes live in each Playbook article.

Purpose

This documentation serves two audiences:

  1. Human implementers: process guidance for what each stage is for, what decisions to make, and when you are ready to move on, with links to Vista setup and TUDS product how-tos.
  2. TEDI: structured stage order, phase_key values, outcomes, and Tracker connection points for automation workflows.
