Purpose​

Complete the Equipment Management Module Setup action for EM Equipment Parts so decide/load/accept is clear before live EM. Form field detail stays on the Vista article.

Prerequisites​

  • Optional capability: enable only when in scope (otherwise hide via Tracker visibility).
  • Equipment exists in EM Equipment.
  • Know whether EM Company Parameters Validate Parts is on.
  • When Validate Parts is on, parts must exist in HQ Material before Cost Adjustments or Work Order Edit will accept them.

Implementation guidance​

  • What it's for: lists the parts related to specific pieces of equipment.
  • How common: probably not used much, but it's available to clients. Mark this action N/A or hide it in the Tracker if the client won't use it.
  • Decide / load / accept: if the client wants parts lists, key them for the equipment that needs them and accept with the owner.

Done when​

  • In-scope setup for this action is loaded (or explicitly N/A / hidden when optional and out of scope).
  • Owner accepts the decide/load result for go-live.
  • Linked Vista configuration matches what was accepted.
