Purpose​

Load alternate shipping locations so users can pick a different ship-to on PO entry and print that address on the purchase order document.

Prerequisites​

  • List of ship-to sites the client wants on POs at go-live (yards, jobsites used as ship-to, branches, etc.).

Implementation guidance​

  • Decide / load: stand up the locations the client will select during PO entry so the PO document shows the right shipping address.
  • Implementation is a straightforward master load of their real ship-to sites — not a complex policy form.
  • Accept means Purchasing confirms go-live locations and that PO entry can select them.

Tips and gotchas​

  • Purpose is document/ship-to override on the PO, not inventory warehouse setup (IN is separate).
  • Load what they will actually use at go-live; add more later as needed.

Done when​

  • In-scope shipping locations exist for go-live PO entry, or action N/A if they never override ship-to.
