Getting Started

The list below contains all tables available for download in TAD. Selecting a table displays its properties which provide important details such as security access, key columns, and update capabilities.

Table Properties

• Description – The name of the table, often referencing its purpose. Example: AP Vendors – Additional Addresses.
• Company Column – The column that determines company-specific filtering. Example: VendorGroup.
• Duplicate Columns – Identifies the columns that must be unique in the table. These columns help prevent duplicate records. Example: VendorGroup, Vendor, AddressSeq.
• Update Columns – Lists the identity column (if present) or the primary key columns used in UPDATE statements when modifying existing records. An example is the KeyID column.
• Identity Columns – Specifies system-generated key columns that automatically increment. Example: KeyID.
• Vista Form Security – Displays the Vista form associated with the table, which determines security access within TAD. Example: APAddtlAddr.
• Default Alias – The alternate name assigned to the table for easier reference in queries and selections.
• Object Type – Categorizes the table as part of Tables, Views, or other database objects. Example: Tables.
• Record Type – Defines whether the table contains Standard or System-generated records. Example: Standard.
• Notes – Provides additional details or special considerations for using the table.

Selecting a table from the list allows you to review its structure, security settings, and key properties, ensuring you work with the correct dataset in TAD.
