- Fixed columns: Team Member, Email, Role.
- Use Search… to filter members. Use Refresh to reload the matrix.
Show or hide template columns
- Click the Template Permissions filter control (filter icon).
- Check templates to show as columns.
- Use Select all or Hide all as needed.
Only visible template columns are included in bulk Apply To.
Set access for one cell
Each template column cell shows lock/unlock plus view/edit icons when access is granted.
| Control | Effect |
|---|---|
| Locked icon | Click to unlock → grants View access |
| Unlocked icon | Click to clear → No access |
| Eye icon | Toggle view (Grant view access / Remove view access) |
| Pencil icon | Toggle edit (Grant edit access / Remove edit access) |
Tooltip states: No access, View access, Edit access, Edit and view access.
Each click persists immediately (no separate Save).
Bulk apply to filtered rows
- Filter members with Search… so the table shows only the people you want to change.
- Ensure the target templates are visible in the column filter.
- Click Apply To.
- In Apply To Filtered Rows, review Summary (member × template counts).
- Under Permissions → Permission, choose:
- Edit + View
- Edit Only
- View Only
- None
- Click Apply.
This overwrites permission for all filtered members and selected (visible) templates.
Practical order
- Create templates in Builder.
- Grant edit to designers and view to consumers on Financial Security.
- Have users create and run saved statements in Viewer with the access they need.
