Assign Users to Roles
Use User Roles to decide which DAM users belong to which roles.

- Roles exist (Build roles and duties).
- Users exist (Maintain DAM users).
This page does not edit form/report permissions and does not grant company or PR group access.
How the matrix works

| Columns | Visible roles (role name in the header) |
| Cell | Assigned (check icon) or not assigned (X icon) |
Click a cell icon to assign or unassign. Changes save immediately. Failed updates revert the cell and show an error toast.
There is no Save Changes button on this page.
Filter what you see
- Search — filters the user list.
- Roles — multi-select which role columns appear. Only visible roles load into the assignment matrix.
- Clear Filters — clears search and shows all role columns again.
Hide unused roles to keep the grid manageable when you have many roles.
After assigning
- Optionally set company and PR group access.
- Push user-role assignments with Export and sync DAM security to Vista → section User Roles.
Warning: Refresh Users / import with Replace users on User Setup can wipe user-role assignments. See Maintain DAM users.
