Create and Manage Analyses

Create saved analyses in Data Analysis—one named skill configuration you can reopen, reparameterize, and run again. Use separate analyses when you need different scopes (for example Company 99 vs Company 100).

Prerequisite: Select a team. Non-WIP skills need a default Vista company in Vista Preferences; otherwise create fails with a message to set one.

What gets created​

Creating an analysis does not change the skill later—skill is fixed at create. Rename only changes the label.

Create from the empty state​

When you have no analyses selected (or none yet), the main panel shows Create analyses.

  1. Confirm the correct team is selected.
  2. Check one or more skills marked Available Now. Skills marked Coming Soon stay disabled.
  3. Click Create analyses (or Creating analyses... while it works).

TUDS creates one analysis per selected skill, names each with the skill name, applies defaults, selects the last created analysis, and starts the first run.

Add more analyses​

Use this when you already have analyses and need another (second company, second skill, etc.).

  1. In the left Active Analyses header, click Add analysis (+).
  2. In Add Analysis, check one or more Available Now skills.
  3. For each selected skill:
    • Set Analysis name (use a clear label, e.g. AP Aging - Co 99).
    • Optionally choose a Display template, or leave No template.
  4. Click Create Analysis (one skill) or Create Analyses (multiple).

Cancel closes without creating. You need at least one selected skill and a team.

Open, search, rename, edit, delete​

Left sidebar: Active Analyses, with Search analyses... (matches name or description).

Edit and inline Rename both change the analysis name only—not parameters or skill. For companies, months, and filters, use Parameters (see Configure analysis parameters).

Multiple analyses for different companies​

Defaults always start from your default Vista company. To keep Company 99 and Company 100 side by side:

  1. Create the first analysis (empty state or Add Analysis) and name it for company 99.
  2. Open Parameters, set Companies to 99, Save Parameters, then Run Again.
  3. Add analysis again for the same skill, name it for company 100, set Companies to 100, save, and run.

You then switch between them in Active Analyses without retyping scope each time.
