Schedule Report Delivery

Use Report Scheduler to run a standard or custom report on a cron and email PDF, Excel, or CSV output.

Test the report interactively first in Run a report. Custom reports come from Create and edit custom reports. Access comes from Assign report permissions.


Create a schedule

  1. Open Report Scheduler.
  2. Click New schedule (empty state or sidebar +).
  3. On the Config tab:
    • Schedule Name (required; default New Report Schedule)
    • Enabled / Disabled switch
    • Report TypeStandard report or Custom report
    • Report (required)
    • Output FormatPDF, Excel, or CSV
    • OrientationPortrait or Landscape (PDF only)
    • Delivery ModeSingle email (default) or One email per row
    • Under Parameters: set saved parameter values used when the schedule executes
  4. Open Email and fill required fields:
    • Email To (comma-separated)
    • Email Subject (default: Scheduled Report)
    • Email Body
    • Optional Email CC (comma-separated) / Email BCC (comma-separated)
  5. Click Save.

Rules require a saved schedule. After the first save, open Rules.

Sidebar list: Schedules. Green/red status dots mean Enabled / Disabled. Row ⋯: Execute, Duplicate, DeleteDelete Schedule.

Empty state: Select a Report Schedule.

Row delivery currently supports manual delivery tables only.


Add cron rules

  1. Select a saved schedule.
  2. Open Rules.
  3. Click Add rule.
  4. In the add-rule dialog:
    • Set Timezone
    • Choose frequency and the time/day options for that frequency
    • Optional start/end dates when available
    • Enable the rule as needed
  5. Save the rule.

Edit an existing rule from the Rules list. Delete confirms with Delete Rule.

Until the schedule is saved once, Rules shows: Save the schedule first to manage cron rules.


Run and review

Keep the schedule Enabled for automatic runs. Use Disabled to pause without deleting.

Team-wide history across schedulers is under Teams → Schedule Executions. Per-schedule history stays on this Executions tab.


Checklist before relying on email

  1. Report selected and required Parameters filled.
  2. Output format (and PDF orientation if applicable) match what recipients expect.
  3. At least one enabled rule with the correct timezone.
  4. Email To / Subject / Body filled; test with Execute and check Executions.
