Configuring JB T&M Labor Categories

JB T&M Labor Categories map payroll craft and class values to billing categories so T&M labor lines pick up the right rate table.

Before you start​

  • Craft and class values are defined in Payroll.
  • You know which craft/class combinations belong in each billing category.

Steps​

  1. Open JB T&M Labor Categories (TNM Labor Categories).
  2. Create or edit a labor category.
  3. Assign craft and class values to the category.
  4. Ensure no two categories share the same craft/class combination.
  5. Link the category to the T&M template that should use those rates.
  6. Save.

Notes​

  • Duplicate craft/class mappings cause conflicts—each combination belongs to one category only.
  • Category-level rates are set on T&M Template Labor Rates; finer overrides use Labor Override.
