Configuring MS Truck Types

MS Truck Types categorizes vendor trucks by hauling capability (for example three-axle or six-axle). Types identify trucks on MS Vendor Trucks and support rate overrides in MS Pay Codes.

Before you start​

  • Know how your company groups trucks (axles, capacity, or similar).

Steps​

  1. Open MS Truck Types.
  2. Define each truck type with a clear code/description (for example axle count).
  3. Save.
  4. Assign types on MS Vendor Trucks and use them for rate overrides on MS Pay Codes as needed.

Notes​

  • Wrong truck types cause incorrect haul rate overrides.
