Configuring VA Site Settings

VA Site Settings holds high-level options for the database environment, including session and license behavior.

Before you start​

  • You need rights to change site settings.
  • Decide whether idle users should auto-log out to free licenses.

Steps​

  1. Open VA Site Settings.
  2. Enable Use Auto Logout if you want idle sessions to release licenses.
  3. Exempt specific users in VA User Profile if they should stay logged on.
  4. Enable security administration options when you will use form, report, attachment, or data security.
  5. Save.

Notes​

  • Auto logout can interrupt long-running work—exempt users who need continuous sessions.
