Editing EM Work Orders

EM Work Order Edit creates and maintains work orders for equipment repairs and maintenance.

Before you start

• Status codes, repair types, and (for PM) standard maintenance groups are set up.
• Meter/odometer readings are current when scheduling from usage.

Steps

1. Open EM Work Order Edit.
2. Select an existing work order or create a new one.
3. Review work order items.
4. For each item, enter the cost code for posting, status, repair type, and description.
5. Add required parts (inventory counts adjust when configured).
6. Save.

Tips

• Use standard maintenance groups to generate routine work orders instead of keying them from scratch.
