EM Equipment Code Change

EM Equipment Code Change renames an equipment number across Vista when the unit is not referenced in open batches.

Before you start​

  • Confirm the equipment is not in any open batches.
  • Agree on the new equipment number.

Steps​

  1. Clear or post any open batches that reference the equipment.
  2. Open EM Equipment Code Change.
  3. Select the current equipment number.
  4. Enter the new equipment number.
  5. Let validations run, then click Change.

Notes​

  • Code changes affect historical references—coordinate with anyone reporting on the old number.
