JC Progress Entry
The JC Progress Entry form is used to record the units completed on a job, either weekly or monthly. By accurately recording progress, businesses can job tracking and billing are aligned with the actual work completed.
Before you start
- The job and its phases are set up in the system.
- Have the necessary permissions to access and edit the JC Progress Entry form.
Steps
- Open theJC Progress Entryform.
- Specify the date of the progress entry.
- Enter the job number, which will default all the phases on that job.
- Go through each phase and enter the newly completed units.
- Once all entries are updated, proceed to post the batch by selecting 'File Process Batch'.
- Validate the batch so all entries are correct.
- Preview the batch reports to review the entries.
- Post the batch to finalize the progress entry.
Notes
- All entries are accurate before posting the batch, as incorrect entries can affect job tracking and billing.
- Once posted, changes to the progress entry may require additional steps to correct.
