JC Revenue Projections

JC Revenue Projections maintains projected revenue by contract item. Reports use projected revenue when it is nonzero; otherwise they use Current Contract. Typical uses: T&M with no contract amount, unit-based Progress contracts, or temporary projections for unprocessed change orders (remove those once COs process).

Before you start

• Valid contract and items exist; contract status is eligible for projections.
• No other open projection batch blocks this one; the subledger month is open.
• You have permission to enter revenue projections.

Steps

1. Open JC Revenue Projections and create or open a batch.
2. Select the contract / items. Filters (department, item ranges, bill types) change display only; they do not change initialization.
3. Enter or adjust the grid (current, future-CO, previous-projected, adjusted / projected units and dollars).
4. Optionally run Options > Calculate Projections with a method (cost units, billed values, actual / projected cost + markup) and Write Over Plugged Values as needed. LS items can retain plugged values under Units from Cost Projections.
5. Use Refresh Data or Reset Projected Item Amounts when you need to rebuild from source amounts. Add attachments if used.
6. Process / post the batch.

Notes

• Filters change display only, not initialization.
• LS items can retain plugged values under Units from Cost Projections.
