Managing SM Agreements

SM Agreements define recurring maintenance agreements: work schedules for PM work orders and billing schedules for agreement invoices.

Before you start

• Customer exists in AR / SM.
• Agreement type, frequency codes, and rate templates are set up.

Steps

1. Open SM Agreements.
2. Enter the customer.
3. Set effective and expiration dates.
4. Select a rate template if applicable.
5. Choose an agreement type (links the agreement to a department).
6. Create a work schedule for the recurring work-order pattern.
7. Add related tasks, materials, or equipment as needed.
8. Set the billing schedule for invoice frequency.
9. Review the service schedule tab for work orders that will be created from the work schedule.

Notes

• Wrong effective/expiration dates create incorrect schedules.
• Agreement type and rate template affect departmental posting and billing.
