PM Import Estimates

The PM Import Estimates form is used to import project estimates and budgets into the Vista system. By importing estimates, businesses can all project data is accurately reflected in the system, facilitating better project planning and execution.

Before you start

• A CSV file containing project estimates in the correct format.
• Knowledge of the project number to be used for the import.

Steps

1. Open thePM Import Estimateform.
2. Select the appropriate template from the template master, which includes predefined templates for various estimating software or a generic template for standard formats.
3. Ensure your estimate data is in a CSV file format with the correct identifiers.
4. Specify whether you are importing into an existing project number or creating a new one. If using an existing number, be aware of potential duplicate or overridden numbers.
5. Upload the CSV file to import the project estimates and contract details.
