Setting Up HQ Units of Measure

HQ Units of Measure maintains units used mainly in job costing at the cost type level (lump sum or quantity units).

Before you start​

  • Know which units your cost types and materials use beyond the defaults.

Steps​

  1. Open HQ Units of Measure.
  2. Review the default list.
  3. Add units you need (name and description).
  4. Save so they are available in job cost and other modules that reference UOM.

Notes​

  • New units should match how field and estimating teams already measure work.
