Setting Up IN Location Groups

IN Location Groups classify inventory locations into groups. Bill of materials setups are driven by location groups, not individual locations.

Before you start​

  • IN Locations already exist.
  • Decide how you want locations grouped (for example by region or site type).

Steps​

  1. Open IN Location Groups.
  2. Enter a group code and description.
  3. Assign existing locations to the group.
  4. Save.

Notes​

  • Incorrect group assignments affect BOM and reporting that filter by location group—review membership when you add locations.
