Setting Up JC Jobs

JC Jobs is the job master: description, contract link, project manager, liability template, payroll state, and related defaults.

Before you start​

  • Contract exists if the job should link to revenue.
  • Liability template, project manager, and compliance groups are set up if you use them.

Steps​

  1. Open JC Jobs (or create the job from your standard entry path).
  2. Enter job number and description.
  3. Link the job to a contract.
  4. Assign project manager, liability template, and payroll state.
  5. Optionally lock phases so AP/PR cannot add unauthorized phases.
  6. Set compliance groups for subcontracts and purchase orders if used.
  7. Set invoice reviewer group if you use AP unapproved invoices.
  8. Save.

Notes​

  • Use JC Job Copy when many jobs share the same structure.
