Setting Up JC Jobs
JC Jobs is the job master: description, contract link, project manager, liability template, payroll state, and related defaults.
Before you start
- Contract exists if the job should link to revenue.
- Liability template, project manager, and compliance groups are set up if you use them.
Steps
- Open JC Jobs (or create the job from your standard entry path).
- Enter job number and description.
- Link the job to a contract.
- Assign project manager, liability template, and payroll state.
- Optionally lock phases so AP/PR cannot add unauthorized phases.
- Set compliance groups for subcontracts and purchase orders if used.
- Set invoice reviewer group if you use AP unapproved invoices.
- Save.
Notes
- Use JC Job Copy when many jobs share the same structure.
