Setting Up PR Crafts

The PR Crafts form is used to define and manage crafts, which are essentially unions, and their associated classes or trades such as apprentices, journeymen, and foremen.

Before you start

• Knowledge of the specific crafts and classes within your organization.

Steps

1. Open thePR Craftsform.
2. Enter the description for the craft.
3. Set the effective date, which should correspond to the effective date of the associated pay rates.
4. If applicable, assign any add-on earnings or deductions liabilities that apply to all employees within the craft.
5. To enable prevailing wage limits, fill out the capped codes and capped basis tabs.

• The effective date is correctly set to avoid discrepancies in pay rates.
• Be cautious when assigning add-on earnings or deductions so they apply correctly to all employees within the craft.
