Setting Up SM Frequency

SM Frequency Setup creates frequency codes used when scheduling agreement tasks. Codes label how often agreement services are performed (examples: Summer, Winter, Quarterly, Monthly, Annually / Weekly, Mthly). After setup, assign them in SM Service (Schedule tab) on services using Task Scheduled, and on class maintenance items in SM Class Maintenance for equipment on that class/class type.

Before you start​

  • No formal prerequisites on the form, field defs, or procedure.

Steps​

  1. Open SM Frequency Setup.
  2. Enter Frequency — code up to 15 characters (examples: Annual, Monthly, Quarterly).
  3. Enter Description — up to 60 characters.
  4. Save.

Hard rules​

  • Frequency codes are informational only. They do not define the actual work schedule and will not generate service dates. They show on SM Agreement Task Schedule as a scheduling reference only.
