Setting Up SM Service Centers

SM Service Centers represent service locations. Each center links to one SM department for cost and revenue posting; divisions can point to alternate departments.

Before you start​

  • SM Departments are set up.
  • Know how centers and divisions map to your org structure.

Steps​

  1. Open SM Service Center.
  2. Create a service center (name, location).
  3. Link it to a single SM department.
  4. Add divisions if alternate departments are needed for more granular posting.
  5. Save.

Notes​

  • Each center must point to the correct department to avoid misposted financials.
