Setting Up SM Standard Items

SM Standard Items are reusable materials or common tasks you add to work orders with default cost and billable rates.

Before you start

• Know the internal cost rate, customer billable rate, and SM cost type for each item.

Steps

1. Open SM Standard Items.
2. Enter a description.
3. Enter the cost rate (internal) and billable rate (customer).
4. Select the cost type.
5. Save.

Notes

• Incorrect rates cause billing and cost variances on work orders.
