User Defined overview

The User Defined (UD) module lets you extend Vista with custom tables/forms, F4 lookups, and field validations when standard forms are not enough.

Typical flow

1. Create a custom table/form in UD User Table and Form Setup.
2. Grant access in VA Form Security.
3. Customize UD User Defined Lookups where F4 needs extra columns or filters.
4. Add UD User Validation so custom fields only accept valid values.
