Workflow overview

The Workflow (WF) module sends automated email notifications from SQL-based queries—for example AP unapproved invoices waiting on a reviewer.

Typical flow​

  1. Build a query in WF Notifier Queries.
  2. Schedule it in WF Notifier Job Manager (occurrence, hours, email content).
  3. Confirm deliveries in VA Message Archive when troubleshooting.

Before you use WF​

  • You can write or maintain the SQL behind notifier queries.
  • Recipient addresses and business-hour windows are known.
